Vic Sotto is once again on full daddy mode thanks to his newest child – baby Talitha Sotto. The girl is his fifth child and Pauleen Luna’s first. The baby will be baptized under Catholic rites on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017.
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal, Vic has last taken care of an infant “more than twenty years ago.” He admitted the following through his interview with the website:
“Parang naninibago ako, e. Ang tagal-tagal ko nang walang kasamang sanggol na umiiyak sa madaling araw, e. Actually hindi siya umiiyak. Suwerte nga namin ni Pauleen dahil hindi siya umiiyak, ano lang siya puro paramdaman.”
The veteran comedian shared that it is usually Pauleen who takes care of their daughter. However, he does his best to help her, just like any dutiful husband. Vic added:
“Kasi hindi madaling maging nanay lalo na yung ganyang infant. For the next three months medyo talagang hands-on ka, 24 hours kang nagbabantay kasi hindi mo naman nakakausap yung baby, e.”
He also said that he still feels if a baby is in “distress.” Vic shared:
“Pag umungol ‘yan, ‘Ano bang gusto mo? Gutom ka ba? Ikaw ba ay kinakabag? Nagpupupu ka ba? Nagwiwi ka ba?’ It’s not an easy job being a mother. Hindi naman sya yung tipong sa yaya pa ipagagawa. Most of the time si Pauleen ang nag-aalaga. Pagka yung gusto lang niyang umidlip at puyat, [andun ako].” “Siyempre every hour, every two hours, at this point, dumidede yun. Yun lang naninibago ako at suwerte naman, hindi iyakin. Pag gutom medyo nagpaparamdam lang yun, ‘Ahhm, ehem-ehem,’ gumagano’n lang yun. Madaling magpalit ng lampin ngayon dahil puro tape-tape lang, e. Hindi katulad noong araw na talagang na kinu-cross mo pa, perdible, may mga bigkis pa nga noong araw, e.”
The comedian praised Pauleen for her efforts for being a mom for the first time. The bosing revealed:
“She’s hands-on talaga. Alam mo naman yun ang talagang inaasam-asam niya, e. Dream niyang maging nanay kasi mahilig kasi sa bata si Pauleen. ‘Eto natupad na ang isa sa mga pangarap niya. Tuwang-tuwa naman ako, I’m really proud of her. I think she will be very good mom.”
Meanwhile, the source asked if they would be planning to have more children in the future. Vic Sotto quipped, “Teka muna, kawawa naman yung asawa ko.”
He also shared that baby Talitha takes after her mother Pauleen, who has mestiza features. He said:
“Parang siya, e. Kasi yung mga baby pictures, parang ka-kyut niya, e. Yung tenga lang nakuha sa akin, medyo tusok lang yung isa. May pagka-engkantada.”
