As Filipinos, we have all felt utter disappointment whenever we open a can of Danish cookies, hoping to find buttery and tasty treats. Unfortunately, we almost always end up seeing a tomato pillow struck with needles and pins. The same pang of disappointment is felt whenever we see a tub of ice cream inside our freezers. We open the container excitedly only to be surprised by a frozen fish staring back at us. However, Nikki Calalang somewhat experienced a different kind of disappointment.
Nikki shared her unfortunate yet hilarious experience on Facebook which sent everyone into laughter. One day, Nikki’s mom bought a tub of ice cream at a grocery store, but what the ice cream container had inside surprised everyone and the whole Facebook community.

What they initially thought was creamy and delicious brownie fudge ice cream turned out to be frozen spaghetti inside the container.

She wrote:
“My mama bought an ice cream at Walter Mart San Fernando. Pagbukas namin, spaghetti yung laman. LEGIT, I SWEAR HAHAHAHHAHA :(((“
The unlucky netizen, who was only craving for ice cream, was greatly disappointed at what she saw. She called the the grocery store’s attention and said:
“Hello Walter Mart Supermarket, pa-refund gusto ko ng icecream. Not frozen spaghetti”

Nikki updated her post and said that they immediately went to the customer service to have the frozen spaghetti replaced with ice cream. At that time, they just hoped it is the real one.
“Edited update:
Okay, so we went back, went straight to the Customer Service. Same old, they apologized and replaced the spaghetti with a real ice cream. It was okay. They told us that they’re going to investigate, see who put that there and all that.”
The netizen even hoped for a free tub of ice cream due to the unfortunate, yet hilarious, mix-up. We bet most people would expect a complimentary ice cream tub if ever the same incident happens to them. Nikki even shared:
“They asked me to take down the post, I said no. It’s not like we’re mad or something. It was really just hilarious. Coz it really was. Anyway, they didn’t give us anything other than the ice cream. No complimentary ice cream…. I was really waiting for another ice cream tub jk (1/2).”
