Maine Mendoza Labis Na Ikinatuwa Ng Maka-Meet At Selfie Ang Hinahangaang Kapamilya Aktor At Ito Ang Kanyang Nasabi.
Despite her status as the most sought-after endorser and certified star, Maine Mendoza is just like us mere mortals who fangirl over big-name celebrities. And as the friendliest gal on the Kapuso network, Yaya Dub doesn’t let petty things, such as network rivalry, get in the way to connect with other celebrities. In fact, there has been a couple of instances that Maine Mendoza was friendly with Kapamilya stars and shared some of their social media posts. This time, the other half of the successful Aldub tandem was spotted getting all flustered when she saw former child star Carlo Aquino.
During the premier night of the movie “Meet Me in St. Gallen” on February 6, Maine was with fellow Kapuso artists Sheena Halili and Juancho Trivino. According to showbiz website PEP, she came to the event to support the film’s director, Irene Villamor. She was at the helm of Maine Mendoza and onscreen partner Alden Richard’s 2017 primetime series, “Destined to be Yours.”
In video footage taken by PEP during the event, the 22-year-old actress was seen sneaking glances at Carlo as the latter talked to other Kapamilya artists Angelica Panganiban, Bela Padilla, and Ketchup Eusebio. Maine, sitting beside Sheena, was all smiles as she stared at the actor.
It looked like Maine was thrilled to see Carlo, who started his career as part of the youth-oriented show “Ang TV” in the 90’s. He eventually gained recognition as a dramatic actor following his impressive performance in the critically-acclaimed drama, “Bata, bata… paano ka ginawa?” with Vilma Santos.
According to PEP, the director introduced Carlo to Maine after the movie’s screening. Irene reportedly tugged at Carlo and led the way towards the young actress’ seat.
After their initial meeting, the two had a brief conversation that led to their selfie together. Likewise, the video showed Carlo raising his phone to take another snap of them.
Thrilled over the experience, Maine uploaded the adorable picture with a short, but sweet, caption:
Frankly speaking, it was such a cute moment that made Maine more endearing to her fans.
