This is why there’s certain jealousy directed towards high-earning celebrities who have the money to buy expensive gifts.

Gerald Anderson once gave Maja Salvador a helicopter ride to Tagaytay that costs around PHP 150,000. According to a report by PEP, Gerald accompanied it with a lunch at Antonio’s, “a bouquet of roses, a cuddly bear, and Belgian chocolates for the lady, plus, a bottle of champagne.” While Billy Crawford gave Coleen Garcia a Sphynx cat from Russia.
There are also celebrities who think that it’s only appropriate to buy their partners a house to celebrate their love. Among the lucky recipients are the late Nida Blanca from politician Romeo Jalosjos, Pauleen Luna who was given a mansion in Laguna by her husband Vic Sotto, and Judy Ann Santos whose husband, Ryan Agonicillo, reportedly bought a house in Las Vegas.
Some stars thought that it was best to show their love for their significant others through luxury cars and motorcycles.
Bangs Garcia was given a BMW 4 series M Sport by her husband and Karel Marquez surprised her groom with a BMW 5-series sedan.
Angelica Panganiban was given a Mini Cooper by ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay but has since sold the car. If that wasn’t enough, John Lloyd Cruz gave Angelica a Mercedes Benz SLK350 back in 2012 which cost around PHP 5.1 million.
Marian Rivera knew what her man liked and gave Dingdong Dantes a Ducati Diavel, the same bike he used to go to their wedding, which was reported to be over PHP 1 million. Gladys Reyes also knew that a Royal Enfield motorbike would make Christopher Roxas squeal in delight during their 13th wedding anniversary.
The elegant Cartier jewelry and Rolex watches that we have seen in Gretchen Barretto‘s hand all came from her partner Tonyboy Cojuangco. Regine Velasquez also gifted Ogie Alcasid with an expensive Rolex watch the latter always wanted.
According to PEP, the price list of Rolex watches is: “the cheapest has a tag price of $5,050 while the most expensive is worth $113,800.”
